Lea Brinson is the owner and principal consultant of Mission Support, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Lea is deeply passionate about the mission of non-profit organizations and believes in the power of relationships and connections to drive successful fundraising programs. Her approach is characterized by teamwork, innovation, hard work, and enthusiasm. She is committed to establishing a culture of philanthropy within organizations, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the ultimate goal of helping people and making a difference.
Lea Brinson, MPA, CFRE, launched Mission Support in 2021 and has been providing consulting services ever since to clients such as Microfinancing Partners in Africa, NinePBS, YMCA of Central New York, and Glen-Ed Food Pantry, among many others. Lea's career is marked by significant contributions to various non-profit organizations including the Gateway Region YMCA, Human Support Services, YMCA of Southwest Illinois, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and North Texas Specialty Physicians Charitable Fund.
Lea holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on Non-Profit Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Grant Professional Certificate (GPC), underscoring her dedication to professional excellence and continuous learning.
